Kate Otte
Creator, Designer and Illustrator
Kate Otte is a designer and illustrator whose work spans a variety of disciplines, including branding, hand lettering, environmental graphics, and wayfinding strategy. She is best known for Drawn Jawn, a Philadelphia-themed coloring book that celebrates and pokes fun of the city's landmarks, culture and quirks. Her work has been featured in The Climbing Zine, The Philadelphia Inquirer, Climbing Magazine, Spoke Magazine, and on PhillyMag.com.
Kate is on the leadership team for the Philadelphia Chapter of the American Alpine Club. She created and manages the chapter’s mentoring program, and organizes signature chapter events like the No Man’s Land Film Festival and the annual Story Swap.
Kate is an avid board gamer and card player. Currently her favorite games include Yokohama, Castles of Mad King Ludwig, and Wingspan.
Garrett Gibbons
Production and Marketing Director
Garrett is a research scientist, passionate about finding a cure for Alzheimer’s disease, check out his publications on PubMed. In recent years, he’s become a tabletop game enthusiast and rock climber. Some of his favorite games include Terra Mystica, Scythe, and Clans of Caledonia. He favors strategic games and enjoys simultaneous action selection but does not prefer games that depend heavily on luck. His local climbing home is the Gunks and he also loves climbing in Squamish, Vedauwoo, and Red Rocks. As you may guess from those destinations, he's a bit of a crack enthusiast. On belay!
